महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-154, verse-54

तां वै शक्तिं लेलिहानां प्रदीप्तां पाशैर्युक्तामन्तकस्येव रात्रिम् ।
मृत्योः स्वसारं ज्वलितामिवोल्कां वैकर्तनः प्राहिणोद्राक्षसाय ॥५४॥
54. tāṁ vai śaktiṁ lelihānāṁ pradīptāṁ; pāśairyuktāmantakasyeva rātrim ,
mṛtyoḥ svasāraṁ jvalitāmivolkāṁ; vaikartanaḥ prāhiṇodrākṣasāya.

54. That very spear (śakti), licking (flames), blazing brightly, endowed with snares like the night of the Destroyer (Antaka), like Death's (Mṛtyu) own sister, a burning meteor (ulkā) – Karṇa (Vaikartana) hurled it at the demon.
