महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-154, verse-1

संजय उवाच ।
निहत्यालायुधं रक्षः प्रहृष्टात्मा घटोत्कचः ।
ननाद विविधान्नादान्वाहिन्याः प्रमुखे स्थितः ॥१॥
1. saṁjaya uvāca ,
nihatyālāyudhaṁ rakṣaḥ prahṛṣṭātmā ghaṭotkacaḥ ,
nanāda vividhānnādānvāhinyāḥ pramukhe sthitaḥ.
1. sañjaya uvāca nihatya alāyudham rakṣaḥ prahṛṣṭa-ātmā
ghaṭotkacaḥ nanāda vividhān nādān vāhinyāḥ pramukhe sthitaḥ
1. sañjaya uvāca ghaṭotkacaḥ alāyudham rakṣaḥ nihatya,
prahṛṣṭa-ātmā vāhinyāḥ pramukhe sthitaḥ vividhān nādān nanāda.
1. Sanjaya said: Having slain the demon (rakṣas) Alayudha, Ghatotkaca, with a greatly exultant spirit, stood at the vanguard of the army and let out various roars.
