महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-50, verse-35

गङ्गावेग इवानूपांस्तीरजान्विविधान्द्रुमान् ।
प्रवेक्ष्यति महासेनां पुत्राणां मम संजय ॥३५॥
35. gaṅgāvega ivānūpāṁstīrajānvividhāndrumān ,
pravekṣyati mahāsenāṁ putrāṇāṁ mama saṁjaya.
35. gaṅgāvegaḥ iva anūpān tīrajān vividhān drumān
pravekṣyati mahāsenām putrāṇām mama saṃjaya
35. O Saṃjaya, just as the current of the Gaṅgā sweeps away the various trees growing on its banks, so will [Bhīmasena] enter the great army of my sons.
