महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-50, verse-26

क्रोशतो मे न शृण्वन्ति बालाः पण्डितमानिनः ।
विषमं नावबुध्यन्ते प्रपातं मधुदर्शिनः ॥२६॥
26. krośato me na śṛṇvanti bālāḥ paṇḍitamāninaḥ ,
viṣamaṁ nāvabudhyante prapātaṁ madhudarśinaḥ.

26. Though I cry out (krośataḥ), those foolish ones (bālāḥ) who consider themselves wise (paṇḍitamāninaḥ) do not listen (na śṛṇvanti) to me. They see only the honey (madhudārśinaḥ) and do not comprehend (na avabudhyante) the dangerous (viṣamam) precipice (prapātam).
