My dear son (tāta), those foolish ones (mandāḥ) desire to cross a boundless (apāram), unfathomably deep (aplavāgādham) ocean, swift as an arrow (śaraveginam), which is essentially a fortress (durgam) composed of Bhīmasena (bhīmasenamayam).
