महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-53, verse-6

क्षमा दमश्च सत्यं च आनृशंस्यमथार्जवम् ।
एते चान्ये च बहवो गुणा यस्मिन्द्विजोत्तमे ॥६॥
6. kṣamā damaśca satyaṁ ca ānṛśaṁsyamathārjavam ,
ete cānye ca bahavo guṇā yasmindvijottame.
6. kṣamā damaḥ ca satyam ca ānṛśaṃsyam atha ārjavam
ete ca anye ca bahavaḥ guṇāḥ yasmin dvijottame
6. Forgiveness, self-control, truthfulness, compassion, and straightforwardness—these and many other qualities reside in that best of Brahmins.
