महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-53, verse-17

अहं तु प्रहृते पूर्वं प्रहरिष्यामि तेऽनघ ।
इति मे वर्तते बुद्धिस्तद्भवान्कर्तुमर्हति ॥१७॥
17. ahaṁ tu prahṛte pūrvaṁ prahariṣyāmi te'nagha ,
iti me vartate buddhistadbhavānkartumarhati.

iti me vartate buddhiḥ tat bhavān kartum arhati
17. O sinless one, if I am struck first, I will certainly retaliate against you. This is my firm resolve, and you should act upon it.
