महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-53, verse-38

एवं तौ स्वर्णविकृतान्विमुञ्चन्तौ महाशरान् ।
आकाशं संवृतं वीरावुल्काभिरिव चक्रतुः ॥३८॥
38. evaṁ tau svarṇavikṛtānvimuñcantau mahāśarān ,
ākāśaṁ saṁvṛtaṁ vīrāvulkābhiriva cakratuḥ.
38. evaṃ tau svarṇavikṛtān vimuñcantau mahāśarān
ākāśaṃ saṃvṛtaṃ vīrau ulkābhiḥ iva cakratuḥ
38. Thus, those two heroes, releasing great arrows adorned with gold, made the sky covered as if with meteors.
