पर्जन्यमिव भूतानि महाद्रुममिवाण्डजाः ।
बान्धवास्त्वोपजीवन्तु सहस्राक्षमिवामराः ॥५८॥

58.
O lord of the people, remain ever vigilant and protect your subjects. May all beings depend on you just as they depend on the rain-god Parjanya, and may the egg-born creatures (birds) depend on you as they depend on a great tree. Furthermore, may your kinsmen depend on you just as the immortal gods depend on Indra, the thousand-eyed one.
