महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-159, verse-46

गुरुतल्पमधिष्ठाय दुरात्मा पापचेतनः ।
सूर्मीं ज्वलन्तीमाश्लिष्य मृत्युना स विशुध्यति ॥४६॥
46. gurutalpamadhiṣṭhāya durātmā pāpacetanaḥ ,
sūrmīṁ jvalantīmāśliṣya mṛtyunā sa viśudhyati.
