ब्राह्मणायावगूर्येह स्पृष्ट्वा गुरुतरं भवेत् ।
वर्षाणां हि शतं पापः प्रतिष्ठां नाधिगच्छति ॥४१॥

If one threatens a Brahmin in this world and then actually touches him (with an intent to harm), the sin becomes much heavier. Indeed, for a hundred years, the sinner does not attain any stability or expiation.
