महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-138, verse-53

संग्रहानुग्रहे यत्नः सदा कार्योऽनसूयता ।
निग्रहश्चापि यत्नेन कर्तव्यो भूतिमिच्छता ॥५३॥
53. saṁgrahānugrahe yatnaḥ sadā kāryo'nasūyatā ,
nigrahaścāpi yatnena kartavyo bhūtimicchatā.

nigrahaḥ ca api yatnena kartavyaḥ bhūtim icchatā

53. A person free from envy should always strive for acquisition and extending favors. Furthermore, one who desires prosperity should also diligently practice self-restraint.
