महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-138, verse-19

मुहूर्तमपि राजेन्द्र तिन्दुकालातवज्ज्वलेत् ।
न तुषाग्निरिवानर्चिर्धूमायेत नरश्चिरम् ॥१९॥
19. muhūrtamapi rājendra tindukālātavajjvalet ,
na tuṣāgnirivānarcirdhūmāyeta naraściram.

19. O king of kings, one should blaze forth even for a moment like a firebrand of tinduka wood. One should not, however, merely smolder without flame like a fire of chaff for a long time.
