योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-93, verse-61

सर्वत्यागवशादेव हृतकाले कलावपि ।
शाक्येन विगताशङ्कं मुनिना मेरुवत्स्थितम् ॥ ६१ ॥
sarvatyāgavaśādeva hṛtakāle kalāvapi ,
śākyena vigatāśaṅkaṃ muninā meruvatsthitam 61
61. sarvatyāgavaśāt eva hṛtakāle kalau api
śākyena vigatāśaṅkam muninā meruvat sthitam
61. śākyena muninā sarvatyāgavaśāt eva hṛtakāle
kalau api vigatāśaṅkam meruvat sthitam
61. Indeed, it was due to the power of complete renunciation that the sage Śākya (Buddha), even in the challenging Kali age, remained steadfast like Mount Meru, free from doubt.
