श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अथोत्थाय ददाहासौ शुष्कं तत्तृणमन्दिरम् ।
अज्ञेन स्वेन मनसा वृथा संकल्पकल्पितम् ॥ १ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Then, having risen, he set fire to that dry grass hut which had been fruitlessly conceived and constructed by his own ignorant mind.
