श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा देहमग्रस्थे श्वभ्रे त्यक्तुमसौ जवात् ।

17. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Having spoken thus, as soon as he quickly prepared to throw his body into the chasm before him, Kumbha also spoke.
