योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-93, verse-40

इदं प्रवर्तते सर्वं चित्तमेव जगत्तया ।
देहाद्याकारजालेन चित्तं जीवो मनोमयम् ॥ ४० ॥
idaṃ pravartate sarvaṃ cittameva jagattayā ,
dehādyākārajālena cittaṃ jīvo manomayam 40
40. idam pravartate sarvam cittam eva jagattayā
dehādi-ākāra-jālena cittam jīvaḥ manomayam
40. idam sarvam cittam eva jagattayā pravartate.
dehādi-ākāra-jālena cittam jīvaḥ manomayam (bhavati).
40. All this (world) indeed manifests as the universe (jagat) from consciousness (citta) itself. Through the network of forms like the body, consciousness (citta) becomes the individual soul (jīva), consisting of mind.
