योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-63, verse-18

मृगी सा बत चित्तस्था बभूव विपिने लता ।
अवश्यंभावि लवनं लतिकाऽनुबभूव ह ॥ १८ ॥
mṛgī sā bata cittasthā babhūva vipine latā ,
avaśyaṃbhāvi lavanaṃ latikā'nubabhūva ha 18

18. Alas, that doe, dwelling in the mind, became a creeper in the forest. And indeed, that creeper then experienced its inevitable cutting.
