योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-106, verse-7

इच्छानिच्छे फले त्यक्त्वा समन्तात्सर्ववस्तुषु ।
वयं न सेच्छा नानिच्छाः कुर्मस्तेनेदमीप्सितम् ॥ ७ ॥
icchānicche phale tyaktvā samantātsarvavastuṣu ,
vayaṃ na secchā nānicchāḥ kurmastenedamīpsitam 7
7. icchānicche phale tyaktvā samantāt sarvavastuṣu vayam
na sa-icchāḥ na anicchāḥ kurmaḥ tena idam īpsitam
7. vayam samantāt sarvavastuṣu icchānicche phale tyaktvā
na sa-icchāḥ na anicchāḥ kurmaḥ tena idam īpsitam
7. Having completely abandoned both attraction and repulsion towards the results in all matters, we act neither with specific desire nor with aversion. Thus, this is our desired mode of action (karma).
