न किंचिदपि कर्तव्यं यदि नाम मयाधुना ।
तत्कस्मान्न करोमीदं किंचित्प्रकृतकर्म वै ॥ १८ ॥

18. na kiñcit api kartavyam yadi nāma mayā adhunā tat
kasmāt na karomi idam kiñcit prakṛta-karma vai

18. If indeed nothing at all is to be done by me now, then why do I not perform this certain natural action (karma)?
