वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-33, verse-34

स श्रुत्वा वानरेन्द्रस्तु लक्ष्मणेनेरितं वचः ।
तदासीन्निष्प्रभो ऽत्यर्थं ग्रहग्रस्त इवांशुमान् ॥३४॥
34. sa śrutvā vānarendrastu lakṣmaṇeneritaṃ vacaḥ ,
tadāsīnniṣprabho'tyarthaṃ grahagrasta ivāṃśumān.

āsīt niṣprabhaḥ atyartham graha-grastaḥ iva aṃśumān

34. Having heard the words spoken by Lakshmana, that lord of monkeys (Sugriva) then became exceedingly lusterless, like the sun caught in an eclipse.
