महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-35, verse-9

एते रथैः परिवृता वीर्यवन्तो महाबलाः ।
भीमसेनं समासाद्य समन्तात्पर्यवारयन् ।
ते व्यमुञ्चञ्शरव्रातान्नानालिङ्गान्समन्ततः ॥९॥
9. ete rathaiḥ parivṛtā vīryavanto mahābalāḥ ,
bhīmasenaṁ samāsādya samantātparyavārayan ,
te vyamuñcañśaravrātānnānāliṅgānsamantataḥ.

9. Surrounded by their chariots, these valorous and mighty warriors, having approached Bhīmasena, encircled him from all sides. They then released showers of arrows of various types from every direction.
