महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-169, verse-56

यावदस्य शितैर्बाणैः संरम्भं विनयाम्यहम् ।
युद्धश्रद्धां च कौन्तेय जीवितस्य च संयुगे ॥५६॥
56. yāvadasya śitairbāṇaiḥ saṁrambhaṁ vinayāmyaham ,
yuddhaśraddhāṁ ca kaunteya jīvitasya ca saṁyuge.
56. yāvat asya śitaiḥ bāṇaiḥ saṃrambham vinayāmi aham
| yuddhaśraddhām ca kaunteya jīvitasya ca saṃyuge
56. kaunteya aham yāvat asya saṃrambham śitaiḥ bāṇaiḥ
vinayāmi ca yuddhaśraddhām ca jīvitasya saṃyuge
56. With sharp arrows, I shall subdue his fury – and, O son of Kunti (kaunteya), his desire for battle (yuddhaśraddhā) and his very life (jīvita) in this combat.
