महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-169, verse-21

श्रूयते श्रूयते चेति क्षम्यते चेति माधव ।
न चानार्य शुभं साधुं पुरुषं क्षेप्तुमर्हसि ॥२१॥
21. śrūyate śrūyate ceti kṣamyate ceti mādhava ,
na cānārya śubhaṁ sādhuṁ puruṣaṁ kṣeptumarhasi.

ca anārya śubham sādhum puruṣam kṣeptum arhasi

21. O Madhava, it is repeatedly said, 'one should be forgiving.' But you should not ignobly criticize a good, virtuous, auspicious man (puruṣa).
