महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-169, verse-24

यः स भूरिश्रवाश्छिन्ने भुजे प्रायगतस्त्वया ।
वार्यमाणेन निहतस्ततः पापतरं नु किम् ॥२४॥
24. yaḥ sa bhūriśravāśchinne bhuje prāyagatastvayā ,
vāryamāṇena nihatastataḥ pāpataraṁ nu kim.

24. He who was Bhurishravas, with his arm severed and having undertaken a fast unto death, was killed by you, even while you were being restrained. What, then, could be more sinful than that?
