महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-169, verse-53

पार्षतस्य क्षम त्वं वै क्षमतां तव पार्षतः ।
वयं क्षमयितारश्च किमन्यत्र शमाद्भवेत् ॥५३॥
53. pārṣatasya kṣama tvaṁ vai kṣamatāṁ tava pārṣataḥ ,
vayaṁ kṣamayitāraśca kimanyatra śamādbhavet.

| vayam kṣamayitāraḥ ca kim anyatra śamāt bhavet

53. O Pārṣata (Dhrishtadyumna), you must indeed forgive (Satyaki). Let your own Pārṣata (Dhrishtadyumna) also show forgiveness. And we are disposed to forgive; what else can come from tranquility (śama)?
