महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-75, verse-58

एवं भित्त्वा महेष्वासः पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम् ।
कृत्वावहारं सैन्यानां ययौ स्वशिबिरं नृप ॥५८॥
58. evaṁ bhittvā maheṣvāsaḥ pāṇḍavānāmanīkinīm ,
kṛtvāvahāraṁ sainyānāṁ yayau svaśibiraṁ nṛpa.
58. evam bhittvā maheṣvāsaḥ pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm
kṛtvā avahāram sainyānām yayau svaśibiram nṛpa
58. nṛpa evam pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm bhittvā,
sainyānām avahāram kṛtvā,

58. O King, having thus broken through the army of the Pāṇḍavas, that great archer (Bhīṣma), after arranging for the withdrawal of his own troops, returned to his own camp.
