महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-75, verse-56

मुहूर्तास्तमिते सूर्ये चक्रुर्युद्धं सुदारुणम् ।
रथिनः सादिनश्चैव व्यकीर्यन्त सहस्रशः ॥५६॥
56. muhūrtāstamite sūrye cakruryuddhaṁ sudāruṇam ,
rathinaḥ sādinaścaiva vyakīryanta sahasraśaḥ.
56. muhūrta astamite sūrye cakruḥ yuddham sudāruṇam
rathinaḥ sādinaḥ ca eva vyakīryanta sahasraśaḥ
56. sūrye muhūrta astamite (te) sudāruṇam yuddham cakruḥ.
rathinaḥ sādinaḥ ca eva sahasraśaḥ vyakīryanta
56. A moment after the sun had set, they waged an exceedingly dreadful battle. Charioteers and cavalry, indeed, were scattered by the thousands.
