महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-75, verse-25

अमृष्यमाणास्ते सर्वे सौभद्रं रथसत्तमम् ।
ववर्षुर्मार्गणैस्तीक्ष्णैर्गिरिं मेरुमिवाम्बुदाः ॥२५॥
25. amṛṣyamāṇāste sarve saubhadraṁ rathasattamam ,
vavarṣurmārgaṇaistīkṣṇairgiriṁ merumivāmbudāḥ.
25. amṛṣyamāṇāḥ te sarve saubhadraṃ rathasattamam
vavarṣuḥ mārgaṇaiḥ tīkṣṇaiḥ giriṃ merum iva ambudāḥ
25. te sarve amṛṣyamāṇāḥ saubhadraṃ rathasattamam
ambudāḥ merum giriṃ iva tīkṣṇaiḥ mārgaṇaiḥ vavarṣuḥ
25. All of them, unable to tolerate this, rained down sharp arrows upon the son of Subhadrā (Abhimanyu), the foremost of charioteers, just as clouds shower Mount Meru.
