महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-122, verse-5

ततोऽभ्यावृत्य वार्ष्णेयो दुर्योधनममर्षणम् ।
अब्रवीन्मधुरां वाचं सर्वधर्मार्थतत्त्ववित् ॥५॥
5. tato'bhyāvṛtya vārṣṇeyo duryodhanamamarṣaṇam ,
abravīnmadhurāṁ vācaṁ sarvadharmārthatattvavit.

5. Then, Krishna (Vārṣṇeya), who understood the true essence of all laws (dharma) and purposes, turned to the intolerant Duryodhana and spoke sweet words.
