महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-122, verse-11

अनेकशस्त्वन्निमित्तमयशस्यं च भारत ।
तमनर्थं परिहरन्नात्मश्रेयः करिष्यसि ॥११॥
11. anekaśastvannimittamayaśasyaṁ ca bhārata ,
tamanarthaṁ pariharannātmaśreyaḥ kariṣyasi.
11. anekasaḥ tvannimittam ayaśasyam ca bhārata
tam anartham pariharan ātmaśreyaḥ kariṣyasi
11. O Bharata, by avoiding that repeatedly occurring, disgraceful evil that arises because of you, you will achieve the welfare of the self (ātman).
