धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
ये राजानो राजसूयाभिषिक्ता धर्मात्मानो रक्षितारः प्रजानाम् ।
ये चाश्वमेधावभृथाप्लुताङ्गास्तेषां लोका धृतराष्ट्रो न तत्र ॥४१॥
41. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
ye rājāno rājasūyābhiṣiktā; dharmātmāno rakṣitāraḥ prajānām ,
ye cāśvamedhāvabhṛthāplutāṅgā;steṣāṁ lokā dhṛtarāṣṭro na tatra.

rājasūyābhiṣiktāḥ dharmātmānaḥ rakṣitāraḥ
prajānām ye ca aśvamedhāvabhṛthāplutāṅgāḥ
teṣām lokāḥ dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ na tatra
41. dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ uvāca ye rājānaḥ rājasūyābhiṣiktāḥ dharmātmānaḥ prajānām rakṣitāraḥ,
ye ca aśvamedhāvabhṛthāplutāṅgāḥ,
teṣām lokāḥ (santi); dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ tatra na (asti)
41. Dhritarashtra said: "Those kings who were consecrated with the rājasūya (Vedic ritual), whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is righteousness, and who are protectors of their subjects; and those whose bodies have been purified by the concluding bath of the aśvamedha (Vedic ritual) – for them are the celestial realms. Dhritarashtra is not found there."
