ये सर्वभूतेषु निवृत्तकामा अमांसादा न्यस्तदण्डाश्चरन्ति ।
न हिंसन्ति स्थावरं जङ्गमं च भूतानां ये सर्वभूतात्मभूताः ॥२७॥

27.
Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: Those whose desires have ceased towards all beings, who do not eat meat, and who wander having laid down the rod (of violence); they do not harm either the stationary or the moving among creatures, for they have become the very inner self (ātman) of all beings.
