स्वस्ति प्राप्नुत भद्रं वः स्वर्गे नः संगमः पुनः ।
इत्येवमुक्त्वा तूष्णीं स कुरुराजो महामनाः ।
प्राणानुदसृजद्वीरः सुहृदां शोकमादधत् ॥५५॥

55. svasti prāpnuta bhadraṁ vaḥ svarge naḥ saṁgamaḥ punaḥ ,
ityevamuktvā tūṣṇīṁ sa kururājo mahāmanāḥ ,
prāṇānudasṛjadvīraḥ suhṛdāṁ śokamādadhat.

vīraḥ suhṛdām śokam ādadhat (san) prāṇān udasṛjat

55.
"May you attain well-being; good fortune be upon you. In heaven (svarga), we shall meet again." Having spoken thus, that great-souled king of the Kurus fell silent. The hero then gave up his life-breaths (prāṇa), casting sorrow upon his friends.
