महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-9, verse-42

गत्वैतांस्तु महाराज समेत्य त्वं महारथान् ।
यथाश्रेष्ठं यथाज्येष्ठं पूजयेर्वचनान्मम ॥४२॥
42. gatvaitāṁstu mahārāja sametya tvaṁ mahārathān ,
yathāśreṣṭhaṁ yathājyeṣṭhaṁ pūjayervacanānmama.
42. gatvā etān tu mahārāja sametya tvam mahārathān
yathāśreṣṭham yathājyeṣṭham pūjayeḥ vacanāt mama
42. mahārāja tvam etān mahārathān gatvā sametya
yathāśreṣṭham yathājyeṣṭham mama vacanāt pūjayeḥ
42. O great king, having gone to these great warriors and met them, you should honor them according to their excellence and seniority, by my command.
