दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-5, verse-75

अन्येषामपि दैत्यानां सर्वे देवा न वै युधि ।
तिष्ठन्ति संमुखे देवि किं पुनः स्त्री त्वमेकिका ॥७५॥
75. anyeṣāmapi daityānāṃ sarve devā na vai yudhi .
tiṣṭhanti saṃmukhe devi kiṃ punaḥ strī tvamekikā.
75. anyeṣām api daityānām sarve devāḥ na vai yudhi
tiṣṭhanti saṃmukhe devi kim punaḥ strī tvam ekikā
75. O goddess, even all the gods do not stand in battle facing other demons. How much less can you, a lone woman, do so?
