दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-5, verse-44

तस्यां विनिर्गतायां तु कृष्णाभूत् सापि पार्वती ।
कालिकेति समाख्याता हिमाचलकृताश्रया ॥४४॥
44. tasyāṃ vinirgatāyāṃ tu kṛṣṇābhūt sāpi pārvatī .
kāliketi samākhyātā himācalakṛtāśrayā.
44. tasyām vinirgatāyām tu kṛṣṇā abhūt sā api
pārvatī kālikā iti samākhyātā himācalakṛtāśrayā
44. But when she (Kauśikī) had emerged, that Pārvatī also became dark and was known as Kālikā, dwelling in the Himalayas.
