दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-5, verse-70

देव्युवाच ।
सत्यमुक्तत्वया नात्र मिथ्या किञ्चित्त्वयोदितम् ।
त्रैलोक्याधिपतिः सुम्भो निशुम्भश्चापि तादृशः ॥७०॥
70. devyuvāca .
satyamuktatvayā nātra mithyā kiñcittvayoditam .
trailokyādhipatiḥ sumbho niśumbhaścāpi tādṛśaḥ.
70. devī uvāca satyamukta tvayā na atra mithyā kiñcit tvayā
uditam trailokyādhipatiḥ śumbhaḥ niśumbhaḥ ca api tādṛśaḥ
70. The Goddess said: What you have spoken is true; nothing false has been uttered by you here. Śumbha is indeed the lord of the three worlds, and Niśumbha is also like him.
