ऋषिरूवाच ।
एवं स्तवादियुक्तानां देवानां तत्र पार्वती ।
स्त्रातुमभ्याययौ तोये जाह्नव्या नृपनन्दन ॥४०॥

evaṃ stavādiyuktānāṃ devānāṃ tatra pārvatī .
strātumabhyāyayau toye jāhnavyā nṛpanandana.

ṛṣiḥ uvāca evam stavādiyuktānām devānām tatra
pārvatī snātum abhyāyayau toye jāhnavyā nṛpanandana

The sage said: O delight of kings, while the gods were thus engaged in praise and so on, Pārvatī arrived there to bathe in the waters of the Gaṅgā.
