योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-89, verse-7

हर्षामर्षविकाराणां जीवन्मुक्ता भवादृशाः ।
न केचन वशं यान्ति मृगेन्द्राः शिखिनामिव ॥ ७ ॥
harṣāmarṣavikārāṇāṃ jīvanmuktā bhavādṛśāḥ ,
na kecana vaśaṃ yānti mṛgendrāḥ śikhināmiva 7
7. harṣāmarṣavikārāṇām jīvanmuktāḥ bhavādṛśāḥ
na kecana vaśam yānti mṛgendrāḥ śikhinām iva
7. bhavādṛśāḥ jīvanmuktāḥ harṣāmarṣavikārāṇām
vaśam na kecana yānti mṛgendrāḥ śikhinām iva
7. Those like you, who are liberated while living (jīvanmukta), do not fall under the influence of emotional changes (vikāra) like joy and resentment. They are like mighty lions that are not swayed by peacocks.
