योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-89, verse-29

तथा स्वभाववशतो द्रव्यकालक्रियाक्रमाः ।
नियतं साधयन्त्याशु प्रयोगं युक्तियोजिताः ॥ २९ ॥
tathā svabhāvavaśato dravyakālakriyākramāḥ ,
niyataṃ sādhayantyāśu prayogaṃ yuktiyojitāḥ 29
29. tathā svabhāvavaśataḥ dravyakālakriyākramāḥ
niyatam sādhayanti āśu prayogam yuktiyojitāḥ
29. tathā svabhāvavaśataḥ yuktiyojitāḥ dravyakālakriyākramāḥ niyatam āśu prayogam sādhayanti.
29. Similarly, by the force of their intrinsic nature (svabhāva), substances, time, and sequences of actions, when appropriately applied, swiftly achieve their intended purpose.
