योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-89, verse-35

वीतहव्येन यतितं नो ज्ञानेच्छेन किंचन ।
ज्ञानेच्छेनाशु यतितं प्रोत्थितोऽसौ यथा वने ॥ ३५ ॥
vītahavyena yatitaṃ no jñānecchena kiṃcana ,
jñānecchenāśu yatitaṃ protthito'sau yathā vane 35
35. vītahavyena yatitam na jñānecchena kiṃcana |
jñānecchena āśu yatitam prothitaḥ asau yathā vane ||
35. vītahavyena kiṃcana na yatitam; jñānecchena (api kiṃcana) na (yatitam) kintu jñānecchena āśu yatitam,
yathā asau vane prothitaḥ
35. No striving for anything external was undertaken by Vītahavya, nor indeed by a seeker of knowledge (jñānecchā). However, by such a seeker of knowledge, swift internal effort is made, just as one spontaneously awakens in a forest.
