मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-74, verse-52

श्रुत्वा तत् सकलं सोऽपि समाराध्य च भारस्करम् ।
अवाच दिव्यान्यस्त्राणि ससंहाराण्यशेषतः ॥५२॥
52. śrutvā tat sakalaṃ so'pi samārādhya ca bhāraskaram .
avāca divyānyastrāṇi sasaṃhārāṇyaśeṣataḥ.
52. śrutvā tat sakalam saḥ api samārādhya ca bhāskaram
avāpa divyāni astrāṇi sasaṃhārāṇi aśeṣataḥ
52. Having heard all that, he also worshipped the sun (Bhāskara) and obtained divine weapons completely, along with their methods of destruction or withdrawal.
