मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-74, verse-3

तस्य दीर्घायुषः पत्न्यो नातिदीर्घायुषो मुने ।
कालेन जग्मुर्निधनं भृत्यमन्त्रिजनास्तथा ॥३॥
3. tasya dīrghāyuṣaḥ patnyo nātidīrghāyuṣo mune .
kālena jagmurnidhanaṃ bhṛtyamantrijanāstathā.
3. tasya dīrghāyuṣaḥ patnyaḥ na atidīrghāyuṣaḥ mune
kālena jagmuḥ nidhanam bhṛtyamantrijanāḥ tathā
3. O sage (mune), though he himself had a long life, his wives did not have very long lives. In time, they, along with his servants and ministers, similarly met their demise.
