इत्युक्तः प्राह मां सोऽपि मुनिरित्थं महीपते ।
न प्रयच्छामि शापं ते यद्यात्मानं ददासि मे ॥३०॥

30. ityuktaḥ prāha māṃ so'pi muniritthaṃ mahīpate .
na prayacchāmi śāpaṃ te yadyātmānaṃ dadāsi me.

iti uktaḥ prāha mām saḥ api muniḥ ittham mahīpate
na prayacchāmi śāpam te yadi ātmānam dadāsi me

30.
O king, when I had spoken thus, that sage also said to me in this manner: 'I will not give you a curse if you surrender yourself (ātman) to me.'
