मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-74, verse-35

सति ताते कथञ्चाहं वृणोमि मुनिसत्तम ।
सापराधाथवा पादौ प्रसीदेश नमाम्यहम् ॥३५॥
35. sati tāte kathañcāhaṃ vṛṇomi munisattama .
sāparādhāthavā pādau prasīdeśa namāmyaham.

sāparādhā athavā pādau prasīda īśa namāmi aham
35. O best of sages, how can I choose (a husband) when my father is present? Or perhaps, I am at fault. O Lord, be gracious! I bow down at your feet.
