8. pūrve kirātā yasyānte paścime yavanāstathā .

O twice-born (dvija), at its eastern end are the Kirātas, and likewise, in the west are the Yavanas. Brāhmaṇas, Kṣatriyas, Vaiśyas, and Śūdras are situated within (this division).
