पापाय वा महाभाग वर्जयित्वा तु भारतम् ।
इतः स्वर्गश्च मोक्षश्च मध्यञ्चान्तञ्च गम्यते ॥२॥

O great soul, except for Bhāratavarṣa, actions do not lead to sin. From this land, heaven, final liberation (mokṣa), and all intermediate and ultimate states are attained.
