अयन्तु नवमस्तेषां द्वीपः सागरसंवृतः ।
योजनानां हसस्त्रं वै द्वीपोऽयं दक्षिणोत्तरात् ॥७॥

This, the ninth of these divisions, is surrounded by the ocean. This division extends a thousand yojanas, indeed, from south to north.
