मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-57, verse-34

सह्यस्य चोत्तरे या तु यत्र गोदावरी नदी ।
पृथिव्यामपि कृतस्त्रायां स प्रदेशो मनोरमः ॥३४॥
34. sahyasya cottare yā tu yatra godāvarī nadī .
pṛthivyāmapi kṛtastrāyāṃ sa pradeśo manoramaḥ.
34. sahyasya ca uttare yā tu yatra godāvarī nadī
pṛthivyām api kṛtsnāyām saḥ pradeśaḥ manoramaḥ
34. That charming region, which is located to the north of the Sahya mountains, where the Godavari river flows, is indeed delightful on the entire earth.
